Industrial website design and 3D product animation
I build websites and 3D for manufacturers, distributors and process-equipment agents: films that show how your equipment works inside, interactive 3D and AR on your product pages, and bilingual sites that turn engineers’ searches into enquiries. One model, built once from your drawings, does all of it.
Engineers search before they call. In Google Keyword Planner, “website for manufacturers”, “3d animation services” and “3d rendering services” each get 1,000 to 10,000 searches a month across the US, the UK, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and advertisers bid $50 or more a click for “industrial website design” and “industrial marketing agency” (my pull, 18 October 2026). The page they land on has to answer them, then show them.
Worried engineers will see a sales cartoon?
Engineers check before they trust. In the 2025 State of Marketing to Engineers survey by TREW Marketing, GlobalSpec and Elektor, 86% of engineers said they look for information from third-party sources before they buy (MarTech Edge summary). Your page has to hold up to that.
Will the 3D be accurate?
I build the model to engineering dimensions from your GA drawings, CAD or BIM, and your engineer checks it before anything is rendered. The specs sit beside it in plain text with their units, so nothing is only in the picture. You can open the exchanger, valve and separator I built and turn them yourself.
Will buyers find what they came for?
In a ThomasNet and Google survey of more than 900 industrial buyers and suppliers, 70% of buyers wanted detailed information on product applications and uses, and 58% wanted CAD drawings. That survey is from 2007 (Production Machining), so the numbers are old. Each product page answers in text first: what it is for, the specs, the drawings and files you choose to share, and a quote button.
Will it be one film we use once?
One model feeds the site, the trade show screen, the tender pack and the rep’s tablet, so every rep explains the unit the same way. You own the model, the files, the code and the domain from day one, with a written handover so your team is not dependent on me.
What you get: a price fixed in writing after the first call, before work starts; a live link you can click every week; you talk to me, the person building it; and everything handed over in writing.
What do you get?
- 3D films and technical animation. How it works, cutaways, exploded views and service procedures, rendered in Blender from engineering-accurate models.
- Interactive 3D on your site. One hands-on control per product family: hold to feed a separator, turn a valve’s handwheel, pinch a plate pack apart.
- Web AR. Buyers tap a button and stand the unit in their own yard through the phone camera, at full size, with no app.
- Product pages and a product finder. Text first, specs at a glance, a quote button on every product, and the film or model beside the facts.
- Bilingual sites. Arabic and English pages, each linked to its twin with hreflang, in formal Arabic.
- A product configurator when a choice changes the product, with the spec carried into the enquiry.
- LinkedIn clips from the same models, in 9:16 and 4:5.
- SEO built in: one URL per product, line and service, real HTML text, a sitemap and clean titles.
Where do industrial companies use it?
Tenders and bid packs. Trade shows, on a screen or a tablet. Distributor and sales rep enablement, so every rep explains the unit the same way. Operator training. Maintenance and shutdown planning, where a bundle pull is easier to brief from a film than a drawing. And LinkedIn, from footage you already own.
What you receive: a master film rendered at the size you need, 4K included; LinkedIn cuts in 9:16 and 4:5; web-embeddable 3D; GLB and USDZ files for AR; interactive product pages; English and Arabic versions.

WHAT I CAN BUILD
Can you turn BIM or CAD files into interactive 3D?
Yes, and it is how I won the SEVEN Al Hamra job in Riyadh. I took the construction team’s Revit, IFC and Navisworks models, about 650 MB, and turned them into a real-time replica people could walk through before the building opened. It runs in a browser as a 74 MB download. Equipment works the same way from STEP or IGES CAD and GA drawings. Standard equipment needs no CAD at all.
How does a project run?
- Call and documents. We pick the product line that sells the most or is hardest to explain. You send what you have.
- The model. I build it to engineering dimensions and your engineer checks it before anything is rendered.
- Films and stills. Rendered from the same scenes, cut for the site, trade shows, tenders and LinkedIn.
- The site. Product pages in text first, the interactive control for each family, AR, the finder and the quote buttons, in English and Arabic if you sell in both.
- Launch and fast on phones. Sitemap, hreflang and analytics on enquiries, and every page tested on real phone sizes. On the client’s site the first phone screen went from 9.5 MB to 2.4 MB.
What have I built?
For an industrial process-equipment distributor serving plants across the Gulf: a TEMA AES exchanger film with a bundle pull, a reformer cutaway, seven equipment families with their own controls, a TEMA type explorer, an AR model, client letters tied to the products they mention, and 40 product pages in English and Arabic.

The full write-up: scrub the real bundle-pull film, play all seven families, configure a TEMA exchanger and load the AR model.

What does it cost?
- 3D animation: $5,000 to $50,000+ per finished minute; a 30-second product animation $5,000 to $15,000 basic, $20,000 to $50,000+ technical (Framesixty, 10 September 2026).
- 3D rendering: $150 to $500 per image mid-range, $1,200 to $3,000+ for complex products (Framesixty, 29 July 2026).
- Websites: web projects on Clutch typically cost under $10,000; the average agency project is $66,499.09 (Clutch, updated 21 September 2026).
The model is the biggest line, and it is reused for every film, still, AR file and page after it. I price each project after a first call.
What should you bring to the first call?
- The product line you want to start with, and who buys it.
- GA drawings, STEP or IGES CAD, BIM models (Revit, IFC, Navisworks), datasheets or photos. Any one is enough to start.
- Your current site and the searches you want to win.
- Whether you sell in Arabic as well as English.
Send a GA drawing or datasheet to m@tawfik.tv and I will tell you what I can build from it.
Questions people ask
What does industrial website design include?
A page for every product, line and service with the answer in text first, specs at a glance and a quote button, a product finder, a sitemap and clean titles for search, and the 3D film or model beside the facts. Arabic and English versions if you sell in both.
Do I need CAD files?
No. GA drawings, STEP or IGES CAD, or BIM models (Revit, IFC, Navisworks) make the model exact and save time, but standard equipment can be built from datasheets and photos.
What is the difference between 3D rendering and 3D animation services?
Rendering makes still images for datasheets, tenders and catalogues. Animation makes moving film: how it works, cutaways, exploded views. Both come from the same model, so build it once.
How much does 3D product animation cost?
Published 2026 guides put 3D animation at $5,000 to $50,000+ per finished minute, and a 30-second product animation at $5,000 to $15,000 basic, more for a technical film with exploded views. That is market data, not my rate. I price each project after a first call.
Can buyers see our equipment in AR without an app?
Yes. A GLB model on the page opens AR through the phone’s own viewer, Scene Viewer on Android and Quick Look on iPhone, from a link. The buyer stands the unit in their yard at full size.
Can you turn BIM models into an interactive 3D experience?
Yes. For SEVEN Al Hamra in Riyadh I turned Revit, IFC and Navisworks construction models, about 650 MB, into a real-time replica that runs in a browser as a 74 MB download, before the building opened.
Do you build bilingual Arabic and English websites?
Yes. Arabic pages live under /ar/ with hreflang linking each page to its English twin, right-to-left layout, and formal Modern Standard Arabic with industry terms checked one by one.
- 30-minute call. Your products, your buyers, what is not working.
- A written plan in 48 hours. What to build first, how long it takes, the risks.
- Start, or not. Use the plan with your team or with me. I reply to every email within one working day.
If you sell industrial equipment and want films, interactive 3D or a site that wins enquiries, write to m@tawfik.tv with the product line and what you can send.
